Site Construction Very Nearly Finished

We visited the Regatta site on Tuesday June 14th, bathed in sunshine it looked spectacular.

Admidst the familar sights and scenes you'll find a picture of the groundsman Mark Beckinsale who is responsible for the land and buildings maintenance on the Regatta site. The lawns are looking superb Mark!

There's also a shot into the water of the Thames, in many places you can see the bottom. When I first started rowing on the Thames in Henley more than 25 years ago you couldn't see more than an inch or two (I jest not), a marvellous and largely unheralded achievement.
