Would you like to commentate on Regatta Radio at this year's Henley Royal Regatta?

Regatta Radio has gone from strength to strength during the last three years at Henley Royal Regatta, providing music, interviews and racing reports for everyone in the Henley area and on the worldwide web, before and during Regatta week.

Robert Treharne Jonesis again coordinating this year's race commentators for the five days of regatta week. Our plan is to extend coverage of racing with more bankside commentary positions and coverage of more races.

Regatta Radio is now looking to recruit knowledgeable rowing people to join the enlarged team that will be necessary to provide the service in 2011.

Candidates for the role will need a fair amount of rowing knowledge, but no previous experience of commentary is necessary - we will be holding training sessions in advance of the regatta, so all that is required is the enthusiasm to learn. Those involved won't have to commit to more than one or two sessions, although anyone wishing to do more will be very welcome!
